New Property Tax to pay for Obamacare?

Nullification rally

Only one day after the people of Texas sent a message to their Texas delegation that they wanted less government, lower taxes and freedom from the bonds of an ever increasing intrusive government, including paying for an unconstitutional federal Health Care Bill, the momentum seems to be gathering to once again impale the homeowner.

Yet the strong rhetoric we heard from Rick Perry, David Dewhurst and others candidates during the elections was that they would “stand up for our 10th Amendment rights”.  Read the announcement of this hearing and think about how this fits in with standing up for our Constitutional rights.  And think about why only “invited” testimony will be heard.  99% of the time this is from the “stateholders”; that is those that want your money – not the people who will lose their homes if this legislation is enacted.

The only way we are going to keep the leeches from sucking our blood dry is to outlaw property tax in Texas forever.  We have begun this process but we need your help.  Call committee members and let them know that paying for Obamacare through increased property tax is not acceptable, and tell Republican members to make good on their promise to stand up for our 10th Amendment rights in Texas and to just vote “nay” on any attempt to implement this in our state – much less on the backs of homeowners.

Well I emailed Sen. Troy Fraiser and told him how it was and that I wouldn’t be voting for him if he voted to increase property tax or vote for new ones. I guess I’ll be giving him a call to. I also emailed all my state Reps.

If there is any increase in my taxes, then I will have to go on welfare, tell how that will improve anything. “WE THE PEOPLE” have spoken at the polls, we will do it again and again until someone hears us. No Obama care and no increase in taxes. No immigration amnesty, no cap and trade. No carbon credits buying and trading. No socialist programs. Cut taxes, reduce government control and government size. Do I make myself clear, or do I have to repeat what I said at the polls last Tuesday?

It seems incredible to me that the politicians will view the results of this last election and still proceed with these tax and spend policies. When you send them email or other correspondence, you get back a nice polite response that reassures you that your opinion is important to them. They then forge ahead with the exact policies that the voters clearly rejected.

The only answer to this is clear cut retaliation at the polls. Every politician must be held responsible for their actions and they must know that we are going to do this.

If you don’t represent the will of the people that elected you, we WILL fire you at the first opportunity – we will remember.

      ain’t it the truth!

There are 2 political parties in this country; the one in control which has 2 faces, the Republican face and the Democrat face and then there’s the rest of us.

If we really want to halt the theft of our country before we lose too much to turn back the tide of tyranny then we all have to step and support a grass roots only campaign where every person running for office is some local to a community of working (and or formerly working but now retired) Americans who have had to face the hardship[s brought on by decade after decade of political pawns who work for the rich and powerful even though the campaign to and are elected by us.

It’s time to stop saying “Select the lesser of 2 evils” and start voting for friends and neighbors and those persons who real Americans know and therefore can at least somewhat trust.

If this kind of movement occurred just at the local, county & state levels we could turn back the tide of tyranny. If communities would gather together and nominate neighbors for political office and then promise as a community to all vote for that person(s) and coordinate the same with other communities so that come election time it did not matter how much money the elite spent everyone would vote for the community member they knew and trusted. Even if only half of the politicians were replaced with grass roots level representatives we would be able to drive stake in the heart of tyranny and start the ball rolling in the direction it needs to go

There are enough out of work and or retired people in our communities that we need not look to the rich and powerful to represent the rest of us. Who is more likely to better represent the ideas and desires of the majority of us? The rich and well-connected politician, whose father and his father before him were all politicians and who most likely have never had to want for anything or a fellow neighbor or friend who lives in the same kind of down to earth home as the rest of us and who has to endure the same outrageous taxes and policies we all have and who have not been able to avoid paying tax simply because they were connected or knew the right people?

It’s time to vote local for all levels of office.

We must continue to hold their feet to the fire and watch them like hawks. The meeting next week is an opportunity to do just that! I, too, am tired of holding my nose while I vote for the lesser of two evils and we have the power to change that as well. Our immigration problem is out of control and the thought of increased property taxes to pay for their food, housing and health care is absurd. How many acts of terrorism will be financed by us? Our representatives need to understand what is at stake and protect our 10th Amendment rights and not allow increased property taxes to fund this kind of insult to common sense.

The health care bill that pass will pay for itself if everyone ops in. It will lower health care cost for everyone including those that come in from the uninsured ranks. They will have to buy in but the cost will be lessen by a bigger pool. If property taxes does go up that is the doing of the Texas legislature remember we are in the hole 15 to 25 billion dollars.
