Let's Start Taking Names

As we continue to build a coalition of individuals and elected officials who will support the protection of private property and the elimination of property tax, it will be very helpful to have documented pledges.  We’re providing the form.  If you’ll get it signed by your elected officials and candidates and forward a copy back of any signed pledges you obtain, we’ll keep a running public tab (on the We Texans website) of who has pledged their support.

Signed pledges may be scanned and emailed to contact@WeTexans.com or faxed to 979-532-5481.

We are excited about the progress on elimination of property taxes. If anyone can get it done. Deb can!

I contacted my Senate rep. and asked if he was in favor of replacing property taxes with a sales tax. Instead of replying to my e-mail, I got a letter that didn’t really answer the question to my satisfaction. It was the blah blah property taxes need reform blah blah we will be addressing this blah blah. I would really like to hear a yes or no sometime.

Forgot to mention, my state senator id Glen Hegar. Is there a list of candidates endorsed by WeTexans or at least those who have signed the pledge?

I have a piece of vaccant land in Lago Vista Tx and taxes are about 200.00 a year only because its an empty lot. I would like to build a house and move out there but I’m to smart for that one! Debra is right on! Good luck with everything!, John

I, too wrote Rep. Craddick to get his views on eliminating property tax. I got the same ‘property tax needs reform, blah, blah, nobody has come up with an alternative, blah, blah….
I replied with information that Debra so kindly sent me and have yet to receive a reply. That was 8 to 10 weeks ago. Mr. Craddick, if you should be reading, ‘YOU’RE FIRED.’

Is there a list of the signed pledges?
